Simon Pegg Talks Up His Memoir

Simon Pegg has done a lot of things over the course of his career. He’s battled zombies, journeyed into deep space, and been the inspiration for a comic book character (Wee Hugie in Garth Ennis’ “The Boys”). Now he can add something new to that list: he’s written a memoir.

Pegg’s “Nerd Do Well” comes out in hardcover in the UK on October 14th, and hits US and Canadian bookshelves November 23rd. He shot a short video, full of his trademark humor, to hype it up. If he is to be believed, and why would he lie (he’s only trying to sell you his book), it is going to be a good time. He promises adventure, fun, love, and a little bit of sex, but not much.

I just pre-ordered a copy and look forward to reading Simon Pegg’s stories about “farting teachers”, “dead hedgehogs,” and all manner of wonderful things.
