The current issue of Entertainment Weekly has Bats and Catwoman on the cover (above), and inside, there are six new images from the upcoming Christopher Nolan superhero movie. Yes, there is a big-time superhero movie coming out this Summer other than “The Avengers”, though with two months to go before the film’s release, you should expect to see more goodies from “The Dark Knight Rises” start rolling in soon enough. Until then, here are six new looks to tide you over.

Eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, the terrorist leader Bane arrives in Gotham City, pushing it and its police force to their limits, forcing its former hero Batman to resurface after taking the fall for Harvey Dent’s crimes.

Starring Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, and Nestor Carbonell.

Rising again July 20, 2012.

      Really don’t think it’s him, but with Nolan I can see the route they would take for that.

          Well here’s the thing. The only way I could see that being Robin/Nightwing, would have Nolan an Co. completely changing his origin, at least with what we know so far. There would have to be some explanation of his skills, so a throw away line to “I was in the circus for a bit” after chasing a criminal down would work. But they could easily have him be someone who idolized what batman stood for, and never believed the media that he killed Dent. Mix in a lil Tim Drake and have him actually figure out who Batman is. It’s kind of tricky but if they work it as he helps Batman throughout the film and ends up taking over for him but in a new persona. Doubtful but hey. He could just be a new character.

    think this will be another spiderman 3 = FAIL.

      Yeah, no sorry definitely wrong about that. Even if Catwoman is a fail, the rest of the movie will make up for it. Good story, good cast, good characters. And really doubt Catwoman will suck.
