To remake either one would be idiotic. Anyway, what he's describing (focusing on the defense attorneys, etc.) sounds like a different film than Death Wish, so what kind of lame is it to tarnish a classic film's name by sticking it on some new one that doesn't even read like the original? I'm thinking of making a film about a guy stuck in a Libyan prison who escapes by outsmarting the authorities and hijacks a plane to Frankfurt. Working title is "Casablanca"; what do you think?
