David E. Kelley’s Wonder Woman TV Show is Dead? Again?

Man, being queen of the Amazons just isn’t what it used to be. After getting dropped before it even got started, then resurrected weeks later, David E. Kelley’s much talked about (in equal parts negatively and positively at last count) appears as if it’s dead for a second time.

While no official announcements have been made by NBC (indeed, official announcements are rarely made for shows that never get on the air in the first place), Deadline is reporting that the second incarnation of “Wonder Woman” on TV (set to star Adrianne Palicki as the superheroine) is “not going forward”.

This certainly sucks for those of us anxiously awaiting Palicki in that Wonder Woman costume. Of course, just because it’s not going forward at NBC doesn’t mean Kelley can’t still shop it to another network. Or a cable net. Personally, I’d like to see it on a cable net, where it doesn’t have to do 22 grueling episodes a season.

If this turns out to be true, are you guys rejoicing right now, or sadden that this may be the end for “Wonder Woman”?

Good or bad, I hope it gets out there either on-air or on DVD/download.  I get the feeling this and “Mercy Reef” would make a fun/painful Palicki double-bill

Phew tragedy averted! LoL. However it was said she rocks the classic costume in the end fight and THAT I would love to see. This will be at the cons soon I bet like the JUstice League tv pilot and such.

This is for the better.  Sorry but I couldn’t see a Wonder Woman without hips.

A 11th hour save. That show looked atrocious, how can you possibly do a wonder woman television show that comes across more like an episode of felicity than a kick ass superhero show where we can see Ares, Cheetah and the Amazons? It really showed that someone up there (the studio) can sense a train wreck coming. Instead of a live action show why not an Animated show on Cartoon Network or the CW? So we can see in all its glory a proper representation of the Amazon.
