Fist of Legend (2013) Movie Image

I’m of the belief that South Korean director Kang Woo-Suk’s upcoming brawler “Fist of Legend” looks pretty darn snazzy. Since I’m a sucker for fight flicks centered around high schoolers with a lot of energy to spare, I’m particularly excited for this one to arrive Stateside.

From what I’ve seen, Kang Woo-Suk does good work. I thoroughly enjoyed his underrated 2010 thriller “Moss,” so I’m anxious to see where how he executes “Fist of Legend.” In order to get everyone just as excited about this project as I am, the promotional wizards behind-the-scenes have unveiled another trailer. The audio is a little iffy, but you’ll get the idea.

But first, let’s acquaint you with the following synopsis:

A man takes part in a reality show based on “real fighting.” The prize for the program is 20 million wons. Contestants consists of regular people.

Keep in mind that this particular “Fist of Legend” is based on the webcomic “Legendary Fist” by illustrator Lee Yoon-Gyun and writer by Lee Jong-Gyu. This has absolutely nothing to do with the Jet Li flick of the same name. I just wanted to put that out there in case you were confused.

Director Kang Woo-Suk’s”Fist of Legend” stars Hwang Jung-Min, Yu Jun-Sang, Yoon Je-Moon, Park Won-Sang, Lee Yo-Won, and Gu Won. The film opens in South Korea on April 10, 2013. The new trailer has been embedded below for your viewing pleasure.
