South Park’s “The Coon” Episode

So color me shocked when my DVR told me it was about to record something at 11:00 last night (U.S. central time). Turns out it was a new episode of Matt Stone and Trey Parker’s South Park. Wait, isn’t this show on earlier? The episode was called “The Coon”, and featured Cartman running around town as a masked vigilante with sharp nail things that he uses to, well, attack people unnecessarily.
It’s basically “Watchmen” and “The Dark Knight” rolled into one, with a couple of shots at Obama just for kicks. The most offensive thing about the episode is probably the title, but other than that, it was a pretty tame episode for Parker/Stone. I expected more outrageousness, but never really got it.
Plus, what’s up with the ending? It just sort of … ended.
Here’s a clip from the episode below. You can watch the whole thing here.
