It ia embarrassing and disgusting that you have the opportunity to affect the public opinion through your own by having your own blog.. wow.. please go into another field and stop making everyone laugh at you. and by the way.. when you write for something that the public will read.. maybe not use the words; midget, and as-if…Although, ‘as-if’, is a very happening phrase, maybe ‘right on’, ‘word up’ and ‘bitchin’ would have subsituted just fine.. My personal fav is bitchin… LIve it up in you fucked up small world!!!!

Get a grip… Your name and personality are oxymorons. African American is not a name that black people collectively chose. It is a name that was conferred upon us. Just as other ethnic groups have historically had politically correct terms conferred upon them.

Dont use this as your forum to whine and cry about black people. The history children learn everyday in school is white history – whether or not you choose to believe it. So get a grip – black history month is only a month long and the only opportunity presented at school to learn a little about Africa.

Grow up. You’re gonna have to learn to share America.

Loki, get a clue. This argument is getting old. You have a black man nominated for the democratic party as their presidential candidate.
What about black history month? If there was a white history month that would be racist. Why is it a black has to be an african American instead of just an American? 95% of blacks here know very little of Africa but they wave the african american flag every time it suits them.

I used Google to search for information regarding this movie. And came across this page. I can’t really take this “commentary” seriously because of the name calling. Is this grade school now? A loudmouth midget? (sigh)

Of course you have your right to put your thoughts out there. But some reasoning would be nice. As Del Godard stated what war movie is about BLACKS?! And when one finally comes up here is someone to bash it. Mainly because it’s Spike Lee.

Like it or not Mr. Lee has done things for African Americans that I doubt the writer of this article even comes close to. It takes a lot to speak out of the injustices in this country done to African Americans without someone thinking we won’t let go.

We do want to let go. But because we still have to face so many things that continue to ooppress we can’t. And if Mr. Lee’s only way to fight back is by making movies that won’t let the United States forget about what they have done then so be it! It’s not as if this is being taught in schools. African American history for the most part has been scattered if not simply erased.

So to Nix, author of this article, go and educate yourself on the history of this nation and then comment. That way you may have more of an arsenal and reveal some type of intelligence. It might even help you be more creative than “loudmouth midget”.

I do know that black men took part in world war 2 but I have never seen a film or a book about the subject can anyone help me out.
