Stallone Hates His Kids, Wants to Make Rocky 7
Rocky 7 Movie — By Nix on October 23, 2009
Good god, another Rocky movie? Then again, didn’t we all thought that exact same thing when he made “Rocky Balboa” and later, “Rambo”? Fact is, no one has wanted Sylvester Stallone to return to his two aging characters, but he did it anyway, and the box office has proven his instincts correct. Now Stallone wants to make another Rocky movie (the seventh in the franchise), even if his kids are begging him not to. One presumes they don’t like seeing their 63-year old dad (64 or 65 by the time the movie gets made, probably) in glistening boxers trading jabs in the ring with some guy half his age.
DigitalSpy reports Stallone telling a German site Tele5 Germany:
“I know I’ll probably make a fool of myself if I make another Rocky film after turning 60. Even my wife says, ‘Don’t do it. You’re embarrassing the kids’. But I told her, ‘If I don’t try I’ll be a really unhappy man’… You have to do it. Artists like me have to go through the dark over and over again.”
Ironically enough, Stallone’s children being embarrassed by him returning to the ring was one of the main plots of his “Rocky Balboa”. Milo Ventimiglia of “Heroes” fame played the son.

AYO ROCK?!? Where do you go from here? Seriously what would the movie even be about.
Iam actually from Germany and have seen this interview with Stallone.
I can assure you all, that it isnt gonna be another rocky Movie at all.
Sly meant with this words, the making of Rocky 6. therefore no Rocky Movie in the future.
Sorry or should I say Thank God?
Rocky vs. Shady Acres?
Enough is enough man Damn! What is he not gonna stop until he rolls up to the ring in an electric wheel chair or walker!!! WTF Sly!? Start off with a new character or something, like maybe a spinoff or maybe give Rocky a protege to train. Look at “Million Dollar Baby” a well done movie just don’t kill or mame the newcomer. I’d like to see Rocky finally train somebody else instead of himself, his son or somebody!!!
ulik, shut your mouth, beeeaaaatch
Will, only a beeeeeaaatch like you would talk sh#t over the internet. Just like those people who talk sh$it over phone. Such a faggot-ass move. If you can’t take an opinion then say something intelligent back, you stupid Cromagum-fag.
Stallone I love u man and I love the rocky movies but dont do another rocky movie. Rocky Balboa ended in such a good note, what else needs to be told.
I agree with ADUDE, Rocky Balboa was great!!! The only way to continue with Rocky is him being “The Greatest or Most Epic Trainer” of all time. The movie could focus a lot on Rocky as a Great Mentor but never stepping into the ring to fight again. I could see him having flash backs of his old fights while watching his protege fight and him coming up with solutions for his protege to win by his flash backs or something. This would be the best way to end the Rocky story but still on a good note. It seems that Rocky will never be satisfied away from “The Ring” but as a trainer, he could still live it through his protege.
Wasn’t that the premise for Rocky V, and then he ended up fighting dude at the end. You had a great idea about the end though.
I dont care what anybody thinks i love all the movies and i’m really looking forward to this new one
awful lot of complainers on this just shut up and if u dont want to watch the movie then dont watch it no one is forcing ya
some people arent happy unless there complaining
give the movie a chance first and then critise on it afterwards fuck sake people
No one is complaining for the sake of complaining. At least not in this thread. We’re all fans of the Rocky films, but making a film for the sake of making one is never a good idea. Rocky Balboa was a great end to the franchise and making another movie kinda trivializes the ending of that film. If he does another one it’s gotta have one HELL OF A STORY to keep people interested and keep the integrity of the character. It’s like making another Scarface movie just because people liked it. “Let’s just say he lived and was taken to a hospital and continue from there” (that was the idea for the video game actually, and in that form it works). Look at Rambo (the last one) good movie, very topic heavy and great action, but the idea for this latest one is just crazy, and not a Rambo movie at all if you ask me. It’s basically a sci-fi movie. The idea of Rambo following a female abductee and thwarting a human trafficing/prostitution ring was great. The diea of hunting some bio-engineered soldier, not so much.
