Stargate: The Ark of Truth DVD Release Date

Well it’s about damn time, isn’t it? I’ve heard about the two upcoming “Stargate” made-for-TV movies for what seems like years now, and haven’t heard a thing about their release dates. Thankfully, Gateworld has come to the rescue. The first of the two SG1 movies, “The Ark of Truth”, will be hitting DVD shelves March 11, 2008.

The 97-minute feature will be in widescreen format, with English Dolby 5.1 audio, French and Spanish Dolby Surround audio, and subtitles in English and Spanish. Extras on the DVD have not been unveiled, but if the past is any indicator, it is likely to include commentaries and extras developed by special features producer Ivan Bartok.

The DVD will come with a $26.98 suggested retail price ($37.98 Canadian), according to the report.

Damn, next year? I want my Stargate movie now, dammit!
