Steven Seagal Kicks Ass in A Higher Form of Learning

In many ways, I kind of feel sorry for Steven Seagal. It’s not that he’s a bad dude; okay, most people seem to agree that he’s kind of a jerk, which is odd considering that he keeps reminding us he’s some kind of Leftist, tree-hugging Greenie who practices Buddhism. But I don’t think I’ve ever read a story about Steven Seagal that didn’t have someone calling him a jackass or an asshole. That may be so, but his movies are still pretty entertaining, in an, “Oh my God he’s not even trying anymore” sort of way. Seagal’s latest is “A Higher Form of Learning”, an action thriller that he also wrote, so you know it has to be good. Right?

Says The Hollywood Reporter:

The story centers on a detective who travels the world in pursuit of serial killers. He finds himself in Memphis hunting two murderers while also chasing his own demons.

It’s set in Memphis, but it’ll be shooting in Vancouver. And despite the plot outline, expect a lot of bone breaking and Seagal Judo throwing people around small rooms. He loves that shit.
