Steven Seagal Wants to Break E.T.’s Neck in Under Siege 3

Written by Nix | October 2nd, 2008 | 0 Comments |

I can’t tell you the title of the last Steven Seagal movie that I saw. Mind you, it’s not that it’s been all that long ago since I watched the Bellied Brawler knock some heads and break some bones, it’s mostly because the titles of Seagal’s direct-to-DVD movies are so generic, that I can’t tell them apart. I believe it had to be “Die Now Death Fire”, or something along that line. In any case, remember the good old days, when we would pay money to go to the theaters to see a Seagal movie? Ah, yes, it’s been a while, hasn’t it? Nowadays, we’d be lucky to avoid one of his quickie flicks on the USA Network while channel surfing.

But as was the case with Sylvester Stallone and the “Rocky” and “Rambo” films, Seagal is now making noise about returning to his most successful franchise to date — the “Under Siege” movies, in which he plays cook-by-day/super-badass-dude by night Casey Ryback. The first “Under Siege”, in 1992, saw Seagal take on Tommy Lee Jones (as a hippie CIA loon, no less) on a battleship; the second one put Seagal on a runaway train, versus some computer nerd guy; and the third?

According to Seagal, they are getting offers for a third entry, but what would the story be? Seagal thinks it would be fun to snap some alien necks. Says the Bloated Sensei to MTV:

“I personally want it to be something more modern,” said Seagal, giving us his thoughts on potential storylines. But it’s one specific angle that will probably have fans intrigued, to say the least.

“In other words,” Seagal began, “I wouldn’t mind if it was about something more mystical or…maybe extraterrestrial in nature. Some real government top secrets instead of just the typical.”

But hey, don’t take my word for it. Hear it from the Ponytailed One yourself:
