I have all four books and have read them twice. I stood in line along with 300 other people to get the DVD. Oh yeah, by the way, I am 56. Don't
change the characters too much or you will lose the impact of the story.
BElla is not ugly as one person stated. She is innocent and that is what
the storyline needed. Her and Edward are perfect together. Please tell
me you are not changing the characters of the Cullen family. IF so, I
think you will regret it. Consistent is the key word to make all the films successful!! You must stick with the story that Ms. Meyer wrote and not elaborate. Why the change in Directors...Did she not make Twilight successful?? You are risking a lot to bring in some new Director that might not have the vision to be fruitful. There is nothing
worse than a bad sequel...think about it! and GOOD LUCK! I look forward to the sequel because this one will be the hardest to keep us entertained!

By the looks of the hype for the first film of the novel series, it looks like there is going to be a huge Twilight Franchise. Personally, i reckon they SHOULD continue with the series project!!! I am so there supporting them, and keeping up with it to the max!

HOPE THEY MAKE THE MOVIE SEQUELS!!! I would sign a peitition if they ever considered not to!

Keep it up! Please!

I find it utterly amusing that a teenage Romance novel, with a modern "Goth/Vampire" twist, written by a Mormon (if I recall correctly), is causing such a stir. These books are a nice way for these youngsters to cut their teeth on Vampire fiction. However, I would reccomend Anne Rice as the benchmark for this genre... better stories, grander appeal, enough romance and sex to not be boring and not too much to lose its appeal (i.e. Laurel Hamilton's "Anita Blake" Series after book 12).

I can't wait for Twilight or New Moon! All I have to say is, they'd better stick very close to the book (Twilight). If they do, I might see it in theaters twice. :D
