Now, stick with it. The trailer for “Big Fan” director Josh Trank’s faux documentary movie “Chronicle” starts off kind of stupid, with the usual “shot from a camera’s POV” conceit that’s gotten so damn old and tired nowadays, but after a while, you forget about this gimmick and realize that “Chronicle” looks like a pretty badass superhero movie. One of those, “With great power definitely comes great responsibility” flicks, and is probably the most realistic movie about teens with superpowers yet. I mean, what would you do if you were 16 or 17, and realize you could move things with your mind? You’d screw with people in stores, freak out little kids, and when some douche is tailgating you for absolutely no reason, throw his ass, truck and all, into the river, of course. Check out the first trailer for “Chronicle” below.
