Harold Perrineau in Z Nation

This September 10th will find a new zombie drama gracing your TV screens. Of course, whether you’ll tune in or not, or tune in and stick around, will be entirely up to you.

The Syfy channel is getting into the undead game with “Z Nation,” which takes place 3 years after a zombie plague, and finds a group of people, including one lone badass soldier, trying to transport the only living known zombie survivor (he was bitten, but didn’t turn) from New York to California, where the last functioning viral lab is located.

The show, which is getting a 13-episode first season order from the cable network, stars “Lost’s” Harold Perrineau, Tom Everett Scott and “Supernatural’s” DJ Qualls.

Check out a short trailer for the drama below. Looks okay. Syfy channel cheap, yes, but hey, not every zombie drama can be “The Walking Dead,” right?
