Tarantino Really, Really Wants Brad Pitt to be a Bastard

Will Brad Pitt become a royal bastard for Quentin Tarantino? Yes, if the former videostore clerk turned hot-chick banging moviemaker gets his way, says the gal who runs DeadlineHollywoodDaily. According to Nikki Finke, The Chinster has flown to France, where Pitt and wife Angelina Jolie are currently squeezing out five more kids to join their already behemoth brood, in order to convince Pitt to commit to one of the roles.

I’m told the tête-à-tête between Quentin Tarantino and Brad Pitt takes place today in France. As I’ve previously reported, the actor is Quentin Tarantino’s first choice to star in his planned World War II movie Inglorious Bastards, whose script’s foreign rights are being shopped to several Hollywood studios. But I hear one reason they’re waiting to make offers is to see whether Brad is on board. Tarantino wants to start filming by October to debut at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

Rumor has it that Tarantino’s wish list also includes Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, and if we’re really lucky, Steven Seagal and Jean-Claude Van Damme. Okay, maybe not the last two, but definitely the first two.
