Taylor Lautner’s Abduction Gets a Law and Order Mom

Taylor Lautner’s mother in his new action-thriller “Abduction” is a real law and order type, and her name is Elisabeth Rohm. See what I did there? Because Rohm used to be on a show called “Law and Order”? Ahem.

THR has the “L&O” and “Heroes” alum joining the cast of John Singleton’s “Abduction”, which will star oft-shirtless “Twilight” guy Taylor Lautner as a young man who goes on the run after discovering that his parents aren’t his real parents when he sees his baby picture on a missing persons website. Rohm (below), who replaces the previously cast Emily Mortimer, will play Lautner’s biological mother, who the teenager seeks out with the help of his girlfriend played by Lily Collins, while being pursued by shadowy bad guy types.

Maria Bello and Sigourney Weaver are also in the cast as the fake mom and therapist, respectively, while Jason Isaacs is playing the fake dad. Alfred Molina is a CIA spook, while Michael Nyqvist is the bad guy.

Singleton will direct from a script by Shawn Christensen and Jeffrey Nachmanoff.
