With less than 10 days to go before it explodes on the big screen, you can bet that Warner Bros. will start releasing more clips from “The Dark Knight Rises” very soon. I will be shock if they decide to hold onto much of it the way they did with the recent official image dump. Anticipation for this film may be at an all-time high, but it’s never a bad idea to send your actors out there with exclusive clips and the like. So, until we start getting them, we’ll have to make due with these. Enjoy, people who enjoy comic book things.
Eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, the terrorist leader Bane arrives in Gotham City, pushing it and its police force to their limits, forcing its former hero Batman to resurface after taking the fall for Harvey Dent’s crimes.
Starring Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Nestor Carbonell, and directed by Christopher Nolan.
Unleashing July 20, 2012.

Up first, here’s a new trailer that chronicles Batman’s “Journey” across all three movies, beginning with “Batman Begins” and ending with “The Dark Knight Rises”. Not sure there’s anything you haven’t seen before, but the whole vibe of the film — the journey, if you will — is intense:
And look, here’s the first clip ever from the movie, featuring Gary Oldman and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. This is courtesy of yet another wicked Oldman appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. If you have a DVR, I suggest taping everytime Oldman shows up on Kimmel. The things they have Oldman do are hilarious; and Oldman is always such a good sport about it, too. (If you missed it, here’s what he did for his last appearance on Kimmel’s show.)
Then there’s this: Nolan was asked about Anne Hathaway’s portrayal of Catwoman by Access Hollywood. He gushed about her performance, and said this about her continuing to play the character past “TDKR”:
“For me, Gotham and these characters, I’m done. I’ve told our story and I’m moving on,” he told Access, explaining that he’d love to see Anne play the character again under another director’s guidance. “I certainly think she deserves it, she’s incredible.”
He then goes on to reiterate that he was done with the franchise and character for good for the, oh, 900th time or so.
But he’s right, who isn’t clamoring for a “Catwoman” reboot? And get more of this? I know I am.
I don’t know if you knew this, but apparently Warner Bros. has made a feature-length documentary about Batman’s Batmobile called “The Batmobile”. No, really. It’s due on Blu-ray and Digital Download this 2012 Holiday Season. Here’s a trailer for it:
And finally, check out this wicked IMAX poster for “The Dark Knight Rises”, featuring everyone’s favorite masked terrorist.
