New Poster for Oxide Pang’s Sleepwalker 3D

When I was a kid, I would often wake up in the middle of the night and say things to my parents that I wouldn’t remember the following morning. Sometimes I would simply spout gibberish, while other instances found me in search of something I’d lost. All of it, of course, was in my head; when my parents would tell me that I was dreaming and that I should go back to bed, I’d always do so willingly. Now, I’m sure you’re wondering what all of this has to do with director Oxide Pang’s upcoming horror opus “Sleepwalker 3D”. And, truthfully, my experience has no official connection to the motion picture in question. I just thought the story was apropos.

Anyway, here’s what the film is about:

Yi has never imagined a revolving dream haunting her every night would evolves into to a nightmare in real life. Shortly after a dream man enters her gloomy life, Yi, a sleepwalker, is set back again by a past broken relationship and becomes a suspected murderer of her ex-husband. The clearer her dream develops, the more real the accused crime appears to her .Did she really kill when sleepwalking?

The teaser poster for “Sleepwalker 3D” resides below. The film, which stars Angelica Lee and Charlie Young, opens in China this November.

About Todd Rigney

View all Posts

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at) beyondhollywood.com.

Pang Bros. and Lee Sin-je. I’m sold. It is time for the Pang Bros. to get back to form after the horrible “The Child’s Eye 3-D”. Love “The Eye”, “The Eye 2″ and “Re-Cycle” (their masterpiece). “Diary” was boring. “Omen” and “Bangkok Haunted” were decent. “The Messengers” wasn’t that bad either.
