Teaser Trailer and Clip for Ryan Reynolds’ Coffin Thriller Buried

Someone has buried Ryan Reynolds! Luckily for Ryan Reynolds, he’s got his trusty cellphone with him. Even luckier for Ryan Reynolds, that cellphone isn’t an old model iPhone, which as we all know, doesn’t have video capabilities. Anyways, first teaser trailer for Reynolds’ upcoming thriller “Buried” has appeared online for your viewing pleasure. It’s shot entirely from a cellphone POV, so the less-than-stellar quality is on purpose, as you can tell from the movie’s clear-as-a-bell title at the end.

Directed by Rodrigo Cortés, “Buried” has Reynolds playing an American contractor in Iraq who is kidnapped and stuffed in a coffin for ransom. Much of the film apparently is set in the claustrophobic confines of the coffin. Needless to say, it’s destined to be the feel-good movie of the year.

Not the majority of the movie, the ENTIRE movie. It all takes place inside the coffin — from minute one to minute ninety. Effing crazy. I can’t wait to see it.

Not a bad idea to bury Ryan Reynolds, though.
