Wanna see the full trailer for Steven Spielberg’s take on Abraham Lincoln? You know, in the movie where Lincoln doesn’t fight zombies, vampires, or know “Matrix”-style kung fu? Well you’ll have to wait until September 13th for that, but until then, check out a quick preview teaser trailer preview. It’s masterfully done, but then you wouldn’t expect anything less from a Spielberg movie. Heck, it’s so well done, I’m not even going to bitch about this being a teaser for a teaser trailer. Almost.
Steven Spielberg directs two-time Academy Award® winner Daniel Day-Lewis in “Lincoln,” a revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President’s tumultuous final months in office. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery. With the moral courage and fierce determination to succeed, his choices during this critical moment will change the fate of generations to come.
Starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, David Strathairn, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, James Spader, Hal Holbrook, and Tommy Lee Jones.
Lincoln frees your popcorn in theaters November 16, 2012.
