After going totally incognito once they released that first teaser trailer for “Big Fan” director Josh Trank’s dark teen superhero movie “Chronicle”, it looks like the studio has started up the hype machine, and suddenly today is full of “Chronicle” goodies. With the film due out early next month, the studio has begun the film’s marketing, including a new 60-second and 30-second TV spot, along with two clips starring the creepy Andrew being, well, even creepier than in those two spots. Three high school students make an incredible discovery, leading to their developing uncanny powers beyond their understanding. As they learn to control their abilities and use them to their advantage, their lives start to spin out of control, and their darker sides begin to take over.

Starring Michael B. Jordan, Michael Kelly, Dane DeHaan, Ashley Hinshaw, Alex Russell, Anna Wood, Joe Vaz, Matthew Dylan Roberts, Luke Tyler, and NOT saving the day February 3, 2012.

This looks really cool! Can’t wait to check this one out. It’s kind like a male version of The Craft but in the best way possible.

Still this does look amazing. I’m all over this, and the animated film I keep forgetting the name of that’s just like it.
