I’ll be honest with you, I didn’t know who “Tintin” was until Steven Spielberg announced the film and the film got made and we started seeing images from it. Well, lots of people were apparently are “in” on the little fella with the pointy haircut way before that. Anyways, AICN has debuted the first domestic poster for “The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn” (though they will probably truncate that to just “The Adventures of Tintin” if this poster is any indication). Check it out below, won’t you?
The whole thing is apparently motion-captured, and features the talents of Jamie Bell, Simon Pegg, Daniel Craig, Cary Elwes, Andy Serkis, Nick Frost, Mackenzie Crook, and Toby Jones.
Spielberg, who co-produces with Peter Jackson, also directed. When was the last time Spielberg directed a movie? 2008’s “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” as I recall, though he seems to be making up for the lost time with “Tintin” and “War Horse” in 2011 and “Lincoln” in 2012.
