The Age of Extinction is Upon Us in First Official Transformers 4 Poster

A few days ago there were lots of talk about the full title for Michael Bay’s “Transformers 4″. Most of the guesses were based on domain names being registered by the studio, or partners of the studio. I’m not sure if one of them was “Transformers: Age of Extinction”, because according to this official poster recently released by the Bayster himself, that’s indeed the official title for the fourth “Transformers” movie.

What, don’t believe me? Look, it’s on the poster!

Anyhoo. “Transformers 4″ will be set a few years after the events of the last movie, and will star a whole new set of humans, including Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Sophia Myles, T.J. Miller, Nicola Peltz, and Kelsey Grammer playing the human bad guy. The robot bad guys, of course, will probably look a bit more familiar, including their robot good guy enemies, led by Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

“Transformers: Age of Extinction” opens next year, June 27, 2014.

Not a bad name. Especially with the Dinobots coming!!
I hope we get the current iteration of Grimlock, where’ he’s actually a tactical genius, but his speech processor is limited so we get the “Me Grimlock” speech pattern.
