The Amazing Spider-Man Bootleg Trailer Spins Online

It’s … barely visible. You’re better off just waiting for Sony to release the official version. Word has it it’ll be attached to “Captain America: The First Avenger”, which makes sense since it’s a fellow Marvel movie. After that, it wouldn’t be too long before the trailer lands online for your official perusal pleasure.

But……if you don’t want to wait, being the demanding type and whatnot, you can take a gander at a bootleg version of the trailer below. It’s incredibly blurry and you can barely see or make out anything, but it is, indeed, the teaser trailer (albeit a pretty bloody long one at over two and a half minutes) for Marc Webb’s upcoming “The Amazing Spider-Man”. I may be wrong, but is Gwen Stacy some kind of scientist in this one…? It all ends with a pretty killer first-person shot of Spidey racing across the rooftops.

So go ahead, check it out below, and ruin your dinner. Up to you.

“The Amazing Spider-Man” stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, Sally Fields, Julianne Nicholson, Campbell Scott, Rhys Ifan, Irrfan Khan, and Annie Parisse, and is due out next July.

Update: Swapped the bootleg with the official version.

Awesome, Garfield is pulling off a very nice Peter Parker. Did anyone notice that the Spider Bite was on his neck and not his hand?

i honsestly didnt like the mirror’s edge effect

I second the Mirror’s Edge statement. We will see how this goes. I am more intrigued after seeing this trailer but I’m still totally against them going back to high school just to appeal to the younger crowds instead of just starting up a more mature older peter parker off of what they have laid down already. It seems on edge and gritty, but more will have to be seen to have a real feel about it.

To be fair we didn’t get much of Peter in HS. It kinda skipped right to college after he got bit. A lot of what was loved about young Peter was glossed over or just dropped, like fighting crime with a curfew, him being a true science genius, and his feeling like an outsider. Webb is bringing that and stuff like running out of webfluid, and hopefully his wit to the film. These are all things I see as missing when I watch Raimi’s Spiderman. So I think what we’re getting in this movie is close to what we got in “Spectacular Spiderman” the tv series. Updated but classic take on the character.
