I wonder how the apes load their assault rifles in Matt Reeves’ “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”? I mean, they have huge thumbs and fatty fingers, right? It must be hell to shove those bullets into those magazines. They have the strength, but do they have the dexterity? Unless they have an autoloader, I guess that would make things easier. But wouldn’t they need a lot of autoloaders for all the apes? Anyways, just something I was wondering.
Check out the new poster for Reeves’ “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” above. I get the feeling they’re going to call the third movie “Twilight of the Planet of the Apes.” Call it a hunch.
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
Starring Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smith-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, and Kirk Acevedo.
The apes ride this July 11th.
