Not sure how long this is going to last, but for those interested in seeing it early (instead of at the end of “Captain America: The First Avenger”), here’s the bootleg teaser trailer for Joss Whedon’s upcoming “The Avengers”. I have no idea how long it’ll be online, and it’s incredibly blurry and hard to see, especially since the whole minute-long teaser is composed almost entirely of 1-second-long cuts once you get past the Captain America/Nick Fury scene. Still, it’s pretty badass, general blurriness notwithstanding.
If nothing else, it certainly confirms this previous report about the trailer.
Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in “Iron Man,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “Iron Man 2,” “Thor,” and “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Marvel’s The Avengers” is the super hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.
Starring Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Clark Gregg, Cobie Smulders, and directed by Joss Whedon.
The Avengers assemble next year on May 4, 2012.
