The Blackout Poster and Trailer Lurks in the Darkness

Scared of the dark? You should be. Here’s a quickie trailer and poster for Robert David Sanders’ “in the dark” creature movie “The Blackout”. I’d like to tell you that I don’t want to spoil what is lurking in the darkness and chasing our victims, but, er, the poster sorta already gives that away. Starring Barbara Streifel Sanders, Joseph Dunn, Ian Malcolm, Michael Caruso, Caroline Rich, Anthony Tedesco, James Martinez, John Gorman, Alexis Zibolis, and Ace Gibson.

When an apartment building’s lights go out mysteriously, all of the tenants put aside their problems and band together to get to the bottom of the city-wide blackout. Deep in the basement of the high-rise, a hideous breed of monster hatches and begins to wreak havoc. Everyone must find a way to kill the blood-thirsty creatures and survive the darkness before it destroys the world.

“I’d like to tell you that I don’t want to spoil what is lurking in the darkness and chasing our victims, but, er, the poster sorta already gives that away.” I hate posters and trailers that give too much away (I’m looking at you Terminator Salvation!!). That building was just built in the wrong spot…A great way to go from here is if we find out this wasn’t an isolated incident during the blackout and it was a full-fledged invasion on some “Gears of War” type stuff.
