Aram Rappaport’s cyber thriller “A Conspiracy on Jekyll Island” has added a couple of interesting names to its cast, including a pair of strong TV female leads in Mary McCormack (USA’s “In Plain Sight”) and Maggie Q., who is wrapping up the final season of her CW action series “Nikita”.
The film also has Minnie Driver and Dianna Agront, along with John Leguizamo, Ed Westwick, AnnaSophia Robb, and Dominic Cooper.
Frank Grillo will star as an ex-Wall Street man “whom the Secretary of the Treasury enlists to thwart a cyber attack that threatens to derail the American economy. With the help of his wife, he recruits his ragtag team of misfits, and prepares to save the world from total financial implosion.”
No idea who is playing who (except Grillo), but “The Conspiracy on Jekyll Island” is set for 2014.
Rappaport previously directed 2009’s “Innocent” and recently, “Syrup” with Amber Heard and Shiloh Fernandez.
