this movie, wasn't all that good, I like the story but it was called Dark Knight but you had Disney like scenes, especially when the joker SUPPOSIDLY cut the lips of actor Michael J. White and he fell to the floor but you didn't see it, I mean you really didn't see any fighting scenes, I mean it happened but you didn't see it.

I give this movie a C+

This is a consistent problem with the Batman franchise. The writers always throw in more villains or significant characters than they have time to develop, thus either making Batman inconsequential or leaving too many unanswered questions. I don't know how long it took Tommy Lee Jones to become Two Face in the Joel Schumacher film, but probably not as long as The Dark Knight. He seemed to "turn" a bit too easily, considering all the crap he went through up until this point. Had Quentin Tarantino made the film, it would have been a two-parter. Ha ha.

The only major flaw I felt in TDK was Harvey Dent's development. His run as Two Face was perfectly fine, but everything leading up to his transformation seemed rushed. I wouldn't want the film to run longer just to compensate, and I doubt it was Eckhart's fault, but somehow I think Dent could have been written just a little better to add realism to the rate at which he changed.

Great review. However, I didn't feel the film ran long at all. There was so much going on, I never felt it lag or slow down. "The Dark Knight," in my opinion is the best comic book-based adaptation, yet, and one of the greatest films I've ever seen. And Ledger will probably be awarded for his turn as the Joker, but the film as a whole probably won't be. And that will be a damn shame.
