The Dark Knight Brings his Darkness to an EW Cover (Not Really)

Christian Bale as The Dark Knight on EW Cover

Bats brings his darkness to the cover of an upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly. I haven’t a clue what issue this is, but I suspect it’s the most current issue. I stopped subscribing to EW when I realized the printed editions are basically the dumber, one-week late cousins of the online edition. And let’s face it, the online edition of EW is pretty damn dumb to begin with.

Anyhoo. Check out Christian Bale in full Dark Knight uniform. I wonder why the Bat emblem doesn’t stand out more. You’d think Batman was trying to trick people into thinking he’s not Batman or something.

In the article, director Christopher Nolan addresses the issue with Bane’s voice (not really):

I think when people see the film, things will come into focus. Bane is very complex and very interesting and when people see the finished film people will be very entertained by him.

“The Dark Knight Rises” stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Nestor Carbonell, and rises to whup your ass July 20, 2012.
