Rumors are surfacing (by which I mean these guys are saying) that Warner Bros. will be attaching a teaser trailer for the upcoming further adventures of the cape crusader (aka “The Dark Knight”) in front of “The Simpsons” movie. If that’s true, then you’ll be getting your first glimpse of Batman, Joker, et al on July 27th, when those yellow guys make their motion picture debut. But I wouldn’t get too excited. The notorious thing about “teaser trailers” is that they can be cut from just about anything — with or without actual movie footage. Or, as is often the case, there will be 50 seconds of computer-generated title sequence followed by a couple of seconds of footages already show for the movie.
Homer Simpson and company saves the world July 27th. Guest voice talents include Pamela Hayden, Albert Brooks, Tress MacNeille, Minnie Driver, and Erin Brockovich.
Here’s a trailer for “The Simpsons Movie” in case you’re one of the 5 people who haven’t seen it yet (now imagine the Dark Knight attached in front of it — maybe):
