Looks like Ron Howard’s kid Bryce Dallas Howard will be the first victim — er, I mean, actor to be cast in Universal’s upcoming “Jurassic World”, the fourth in the rampaging dinosaur movie franchise.
The film is set to be directed by “Safety Not Guaranteed’s” Colin Trevorrow, off a script he wrote with Derek Connolly. The indie director is making his big-budget studio tentpole film debut with “Jurassic World”, so that should be incredibly interesting.
No word on who Howard would play in the movie, or what the plot is about, but given the past three movies and the title, I’m assuming some very dumb humans have opened up a dinosaur park (the “Jurassic World” of the title) and are looking to make a buck. Then dinosaurs do what they do, which is run amok, and people get eaten.
I’m just guessing, of course.
“Jurassic World” won’t roar back into theaters for a while. It opens June 12, 2015.
