Bruce Willis may be waist deep in press for his upcoming action-comedy “RED”, but today he let a little tidbit slip about the much talked about sequel to “The Expendables”. Sylvester Stallone has already let it be known that he wants Willis to play the villain in that movie.
The good folks over at Comingsoon asked Willis if there was a place in “The Expendables 2” for his “RED” costar Karl Urban, who is the next Judge Dredd, a role Stallone played 15 years ago. That might be entertaining to see, two Judge Dredds side by side on the big screen. Willis said,
“I talked to Sly and he’s going for all the marbles this time, and he’s going to get everybody in this time. . . Even Stone Cold Steve Austin who took two bullets in the last film, he’s coming back, too. Hopefully, they’ll start shooting it while we’re young enough to survive.”
While his response didn’t really answer the question about Urban, it would seem to imply that Willis is on board for the second “Expendables”. So, if you weren’t excited enough about “RED”, now you have that to fantasize about. Maybe this time around they can get Bolo Yeung
