The First Trailer For The Walking Dead Season 2 Shambles To Life At Comic Con

Earlier today brought some great new images from “The Walking Dead”, and now AMC has released the first official trailer for Season 2 at Comic Con. The new season will begin airing on Sunday, October 13. Picking up right where the first season leaves off, Season 2 looks like it is going to crank up the tension, and the zombies, exponentially. And I am perfectly okay with both of those things.

This isn’t a simple teaser, this is a full, four-minute long trailer that gives you a real sense of the shit-storm the world has become. I don’t want to say too much about it, you should check it out for yourself below, but from the look of things, “The Walking Dead” Season 2 is going to deliver on the promise of Season 1. Let’s just say that things are grim.

For those of you who don’t know, “The Walking Dead” follows a group of survivors in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. Based on Robert Kirkman’s acclaimed comic series, and like the best of the genre, “The Walking Dead” uses the undead to hold a mirror up to humanity, exposing who we really are, what we are capable of, and what is truly important.

“The Walking Dead” stars Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, Jeffrey DeMunn, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, and Chandler Riggs.
