The Green Hornet Boys in Action on the Set

So what are the chances that Michel Gondry’s “Green Hornet” movie is not going to suck? I haven’t a clue. And frankly, I’m tired of saying bad things about the movie. Who knows, it may end up being amazing. You know, like “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” kind of amazing. Or wait, no, maybe better than that. Anyways, new set pics from the movie with Jay Chou as Kato and Seth Rogen as Green Hornet. This movie will either cement Rogen as an actor who can open a movie or as “that guy who you should never give your franchise to”. More pics over at Splashnews.

    Michel Gondry deserves more respect than that and comparing it with G.I.Joe is just ridiculous. There is a significant chance that the film will be cool and garner a cult following.

Rogen’s steadily dying career? the fact that gonry is an indie director that mass audiences dont care about? the fact that this is going up against TRON Legacy, one of the most anticipated films of the year? the fact that there havent even been teaser trailer, or posters, or anything to get people talking about this film? its crap, and it will get steamrolled come December. maybe gondry deserves better, but the delusional one note stoner hack doesnt.
