Get it? “The American Scream”? Instead of “The American Dream”? Ahem.

Anyways, check out the trailer and a handful of images for “Worst Best Movie” director Michael Stephenson’s latest documentary, “The American Scream”, which chronicles the hectic lives of a bunch of everyday Joes who take their Halloween really seriously. I mean, really, really seriously. As in, they put their kids and family to work making it happen. That’s kinda whack, but you gotta admit, the guy who goes the whole nine yards on Halloween night is always the most popular dude on the block … for that Halloween night, anyway.

Find out what drives them in the new documentary “The American Scream”. I suspect it has something to do with dressing up as a ghoul of the night. That always makes me want to do weird things, too, but never you mind that.

Sound like something up your alley? “The American Scream” will open in theaters October and November in the following locations and theaters (see list below). Additional details are available on “The American Scream” website.
