The Joker Strikes in New Batman Under the Red Hood Clip

Looks like things are getting mighty serious in “Batman: Under the Red Hood”, if this second clip from the upcoming WB direct-to-DVD movie is any indication. Then again, when you’ve got the Joker around, things always get a little hairy. Via YouTube.

Batman faces his ultimate challenge as the mysterious Red Hood takes Gotham City by firestorm. One part vigilante, one part criminal kingpin, Red Hood begins cleaning up Gotham with the efficiency of Batman, but without following the same ethical code. Killing is an option. And when the Joker falls in the balance between the two, hard truths are revealed and old wounds are reopened.

Featuring the voices of Jensen Ackles, Neil Patrick Harris, Jason Isaacs, Bruce Greenwood, John Di Maggio, Wade Williams, and Jim Piddock. Brandon Vietti directs.

Batman and company lands on DVD July 27, 2010.

And here’s the first clip in case you missed it the first time around:

I wondered what John DiMaggio would sound like as the Joker. I mean he really is good with his voice, (best known as Bender from Futurama). Now that I've heard it I'm good. The cast works perfectly. Greenwood as Bats, and Ackles as Hood, Isaacs as Ra's and Harris as Nightwing, and now a very good Joker. He almost sounds like Mark Hamil, but not as over the top (from BTAS and JLU) and not as gravelly as he played him in Arkham Asylum the game. I can't wait to see this. Will probably be my favorite yet.
