The apocalypse has never looked better. Supermodel turned actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (last seen braving killer robots from outer space in “Transformers: Dark of the Moon”), the latest castmember of George Miller’s finally-in-production “Mad Max: Fury Road” has tweeted your first look at the ladies of “Fury Road”, gathered on the sand dunes of Namibia, Africa for the film’s post-apocalyptic tale. Present and accounted for are Whiteley, along with Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough and Adelaide Clemen. [via ROS]
The film finds Tom Hardy taking over the Mad Max role, with Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult in the cast. The four ladies pictured below will play four members of the “Five Wives”, a group of women who Max takes to protecting as they travel, one presumes, the dangerous wastelands that remains of the world, post apocalypse.
Meanwhile, apparently the apocalyptic future won’t be completely without public transportation. Though I suspect these transportation won’t be completely free. [via AICN]
