The Latest Last Airbender Trailer Might be the Best One Yet

The latest trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Last Airbender” might just be the best one yet. If nothing else, it’s certainly the most action packed, and you even get to see Aang’s flying dog/thing. You know, that furry white thing that he’s riding on from the cartoon. Anyways, check it out below, courtesy of Apple. And in case you missed the news, yes, predictably they will be converting it to 3D.

Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war—torn world. Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live—action feature film “The Last Airbender” is the opening chapter in Aang’s struggle to survive.

Starring Jackson Rathbone, Dev Patel, Cliff Curtis, Seychelle Gabriel, Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, Shaun Toub, Jessica Andres, Aasif Mandvi, Katharine Houghton, and Keong Sim, and directed by M. Night Shyamalan.

Grab your furry flying dog July 2, 2010.

This movie is going to be super excellent. I cant wait. I dont know how the marketing is fairing for this film. I dont really watch tv so i dont know if these trailers are getting any rotation, but if not…they need to go ahead and kick in full swing. This trailer alone would gather the needed heads to make it a success. Plus its nice to see Oppa finally (even if only from a distance). The bending is coming along quite nicely and the flip over while freezing is a nice touch. I think Mr Night will not disappoint. I'm one of the few that believes he never has, but I don't think anyone can say this looks bad so far.

Appa is a flying BISON Nix! LoL. But I agree this trailer definitely rocks and shakes away most of the fear I've had about this movie. I really hope it does well as it's a great story and the sequels would just be ridiculous.

Its gonna be a good movie but I've yet to see any comic relief in it. You can't have Sokka with out some humar and good ol sarcasim.

Very true, but I'm sure we'll get it. It may not be as juvenile as the show (first season) but it'll be there. It's part of who he is.
