Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer ride to the rescue in the big-screen “The Lone Ranger”. Despite the name, the hero of this “re-imagining” of the classic Western hero is actually Depp’s Tonto. Then again, that’s a no-brainer, isn’t it? Let’s see — who should I let front my movie, the guy who has already sold a billion movie tickets, or the guy whose name sounds like he should be doing construction instead. But I digress. The big-budget Disney flick is directed by Depp’s “Pirates” buddy Gore Verbinski, whose name also makes me think he should be doing bloody slasher movies instead of family PG-13 entertainment. But that’s neither here nor there, so let’s just pretend I didn’t say it. Anyhoo. Look, “The Lone Ranger” teaser trailer!
