Tired of “Iron Man 3″ trailers, TV spots, and concept artwork and all that other goodies yet? Of course not. How could you possibly be tired of Shane Black’s upcoming movie? From the looks of it, the film has everything the second movie was lacking, and more of the first movie. Giving the movie to Black seems to have really paid off for Marvel, because from everything I’ve seen, the franchise looks invigorated.

But don’t take my word for it. Check out a new TV spot for “Iron Man 3″, featuring the Mandarin and a host of new footage. It’s only 30 seconds long, but it feels more like, oh, 35 seconds or thereabouts.

When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, James Dale Badge, Jon Favreau, and Ashley Hamilton.

Attacking this May 3, 2013.

Maybe it’s just me but the asian fella towrds the end of the clip looked like he could be Radioactive Man

    • TotesMagotes

He kinda does, but his eyes are glowing red just like a couple other people in that scene which leads me to believe they are all just Extremis soldiers.

You’re probably right. It would be cool if each soldier was a different Ironman villain/character. To some extent they will be since Firepower and Coldblood’s alter egos are two of the extremis subjects. Guess we’ll just wait and see.
