Ben Kingsley in Iron Man 3 (2013) Move Character Poster

We already have one for Iron Man himself, then Iron Patriot/War Machine, and now The Mandarin (played by Ben Kingsley) gets his own groovy character poster for Shane Black’s upcoming Marvel sequel “Iron Man 3″. I still love the fact that the “Iron Man” movies don’t bother with subtitles, but instead just tacks on a different number for each sequel. I don’t know, but that’s just kinda cool to me.

Anyways, take a gander at the Mandarin, who looks like a cross between one of those aging hipsters who don’t want to admit they’re getting old and a Malibu suburban kid playing revolutionary in camo.

Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

“Iron Man 3″ also stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, James Dale Badge, Jon Favreau, and Ashley Hamilton.

The Mandarin gets is due this May 3, 2013.

Loving the look. I really like how he’s this mash up of cultures. He’s got Military pants on that have a dragon embroidered on them, the asian style hair and robes, and the aviator glasses. I really can’t wait to see this.

Wow, awesome. I just hope we get a good one on one fight scene in this film so we can see this cool costume in action.

Sam Raimi’s “Spider-Man” films did the same thing with their titles, too.
