Ha! You are giving this film much too much credit. It was horrible, barely seeming to contain a story line and right when you think you're grasping it you get slapped with a generic and ludicrous ending that doesn't even make sense! Complete gore-fest, mindless.

Yes, I really enjoyed The Last Winter, too.
I'll check out The Entrance.

After reading up on your review - will have to aggressively seek out this film, but I do have to scream a HALLELUJAH! for the simple fact that it wasn't confined to the shelves all-together (as per what was passed around the cine grape-vine regarding the film). Mucho gracias for that!

On another note - would like to suggest the following two films (that have made it to the DVD shelves on my side of the continent):
THE LAST WINTER & THE ENTRANCE (this one's got a very Fulci cover).
I found them to be small scale, yet entertaining in the way THE TATTOOIST was. THE LAST WINTER boasts an interesting cast as well - Ron Perlman, James Le Gros etc.
