The Monarch Will be Revealed in Tonight’s Under The Dome’s Season 1 Finale

I wasn’t all that enthusiastic about CBS’ “Under the Dome” coming in, but after catching an episode about halfway through the season, I decided to give the earlier eps a shot — and yeah, I think I’m addicted now. Still, I’m not sure how it’s going to keep going once the dome either comes down or expands or blows up, or something happens. It looks like they’ve almost exhausted all of the storylines from the Stephen King novel from which the show is based, so if it keeps going (and it looks like it will, ratings being what they are), are we looking at a completely new direction, then? Hey, why not, I say. King’s book endings have always left me wanting, so I wouldn’t mind seeing another take.

We’ll find out for sure what happens tonight, when “Under the Dome” has its Season 1 finale episode, “Curtains”. Here’s a quickie preview.

Secrets of the Dome are revealed and Big Jim is determined to put an end to Barbie once and for all. Meanwhile, Junior, Angie, Joe and Norrie discover who the Monarch is after receiving a shocking visit from a familiar face, on the first season finale cliffhanger of UNDER THE DOME.

Starring Rachelle Lefevre, Mackenzie Lintz, Colin Ford, Alex Koch, Dean Norris, Natalie Martinez, and Mike Vogel.

So, you kids got any idea who the monarch is? If the show REALLY wants to mess with us, they’ll make it serial killer-in-waiting Junior. He can then be the contemporary version of Joffrey from “Game of Thrones”. Come on, you know you want it, too!

Obviously Barbie is going to survive his hanging, since he’s the male lead. But let’s all hope Linda buys a clue by the second season. Watching her bumbling around like a total noob is getting kind of stupid.
