Why didn’t Rachel Weisz return in this third movie???
i really liked her in the mummy and mummy returns…….n i was hopin to see her here as well……..kinda disapointed…n i dun really like Mario Bello……..
Can someone plz tell me why Rachel didn’t play in diz movie?

actually, me too…im quite disappointed about not having the same actress that played the Evie role, while everybody in that movie act as if nothing has changed ^^ especially his brother ^_^. though the effects are great, its just about the characters and age of his son..but i still watch it though ^^

You’re right about this being a disappointment. I wanted the real Evie,Rachel Weisz, on screen. I kept trying to like Maria Bello, but it just wasn’t the same. I was sitting there doing the math, and couldn’t figure out how to make sense of Alex compared to his dad. They were too close in age to have any father/son chemistry. In the other movies John Hannah was so entertaining, what did they do to his character? Boring! It just didn’t work for me. By the time I resigned myself to the changes, I kind of lost interest in the story. Michelle Yeoh and Fraser were the only reason to watch the movie.
