The Mutant Leader and his merry gang of mutants (not really mutants in the “X-Men” sense, just freaks dressed up in punk gear as far as I can tell) take center stage in a new batch of images and a fresh clip from D.C.’s original (and next to last, from the sounds of it) animated movie “Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 1″. The Mutant Leader is voiced by Gary Anthony Williams, best known for his recurring roles on the TV shows “Malcolm in the Middle” and “Boston Legal,” as well as voiceovers as Riff Tamsom on “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” Uncle Ruckus on “The Boondocks,” and Mongul in “Batman: The Brave and the Bold.”
Batman has not been seen for ten years. A new breed of criminal ravages Gotham City, forcing 55-year-old Bruce Wayne back into the cape and cowl. But, does he still have what it takes to fight crime in a new era?
Featuring Peter Weller as Batman and “Modern Family’s” Ariel Winter as Carrie aka the new Robin.
Bats takes on the Mutants September 25, 2012 from Warner Home Video as a Blu-ray™ Combo Pack and DVD, On Demand and for Download.
