The New Night of the Living Dead’s Barbara is a Hottie
Horror Movie News, Night of the Living Dead: Origins 3D Movie — By Nix on September 25, 2009
According to “Halloween” actress Danielle Harris herself (via the ever popular Twitter), she’s landed the lead female role in Zebediah de Soto’s recently announced reboot of “Night of the Living Dead: Origins”. She’ll be playing, of course, the role of Barbara, the WASP who finds herself locked in a country house with a tire iron-wielding black man in George Romero’s original “Night of the Living Dead”. The duo must join forces along with other survivors to fight the undead horde outside, including Barbara’s annoying brother.
Tweets the actress (via STYD):
“All you’re good luck wishes worked! Guess who’s gonna be Barbara?!”
Harris is quickly becoming quite the Scream Queen, having appeared in Rob Zombie’s rebooted “Halloween” movies, and the indie vampire road movie “Stake Land”.
According to de Soto, “NOTLD: Origins” will be shot in 3D, and will explore the backgrounds of the characters we’ve come to know and love so well (hence the “Origins” in the title). The whole thing will be shot using a new technology called “The Beast”, which will either be very awesome, or very “Sky Captain”-ish.

Why do you feel the need to label Barbara as a “WASP”? Usage of this derogatory term means I will never be visiting this site again. Congratulations.
Yeah, because you come here all the time, right? Bye.
The use of WASP is rather lame.
Why is there a picture of Danneel Harris next to the article??? Anyways, I dont know about Danielle Harris playing Barbara it just doesn’t seem right in my opinion. But just the fact that its going to be shot in 3D has already put me off.
What does it matter if the girl is hot if the film is animated. Unless someone has the hots for her ‘voice’ it’s not even worth mentioning.
And yet here you are mentioning it again, on a month-old post. Go figure.
