The Official Jack Reacher Teaser Trailer Muscles Its Way Online

Jack Reacher’s doing well by himself. Honestly, when I think of Reacher, I never quite imagined he would be driving around in a spiffy muscle car. But then again, I guess nothing says American badass quite like a muscle car, right? And Jack Reacher (despite being written by a Brit, ahem), is very much an American badass. On the heels of last week’s release of the Russian trailer, comes the official teaser trailer for “Jack Reacher”, starring Tom Cruise as the titular hero, a former lawman who can be described as not taking a whole lotta shit from anyone. It’s essentially the same trailer as the Russian one, but in English. Please to enjoy.

When a gunman takes five lives with six shots, all evidence points to the suspect in custody. On interrogation, the suspect offers up a single note: “Get Jack Reacher!” So begins an extraordinary chase for the truth, pitting Jack Reacher against an unexpected enemy, with a skill for violence and a secret to keep.

Also starring Rosamund Pike, Robert Duvall, Jai Courtney, Richard Jenkins, Werner Herzog, James Martin Kelly, David Oyelowo, Michael Raymond-James, Alexia Fast, and written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie (of “Way of the Gun” and “The Usual Suspects” fame).

Jack Reacher kicks your ass December 21, 2012.

While I’m not entirely sold on it yet, it does look better than the MIssion Impossible movies which are too tongue-in-cheek for me. I like the more serious tone it looks like Cruise is playing in this one at least.

well.. mission impossible was meant to be serious, until the last part… although i don’t dislike humor, it was just wrong in mission impossible: ghost protocol imo.
