Let’s face it, when some guy name Lord Godless shows up wanting to do damage, it’s your duty to get up and knock him down a couple of pegs. And hey, if you happen to know those fancy martial arts that lets you fly and hop around mountains, that’s cool, too. Check out some new footage and two trailers (one a teaser) from the Pang Brothers’ (to my knowledge) first martial arts movie, “The Storm Warriors”, a sequel to 1998’s “The Storm Riders”.
In the sequel, super warriors Wind and Cloud (returning players Ekin Cheng and Aaron Kwok) find themselves up against a ruthless Japanese warlord name Lord Godless (Simon Yam) intent on invading China. The sequel will co-star Nicholas Tse as Heart, Charlene Choi as Second Dream, Suet Lam as Piggy King, and Yan Tang as Muse.
Bros Oxide Pang Chun and Danny Pang, most known for their Asian horror movies like “The Eye” franchise and their Hollywood foray, “The Messengers”.
Crazy “300″-inspired clip and even crazier trailers via the boys at Twitch.
The boys do their storming this December in Hong Kong.

Looks good. Like the 300 influence, but I hope the movie isn’t all like that with the slow mo/fast mo all the time. What I loved about the original is that it was off the wall action, though there could have been a little more hand to hadn fighting and not just the cg special effects. Still count me in.
Movie seem promising and i can’t wait for it to come out. Though this is not directed by Andrew Lau, Hope the Pang Brothers can pull this off and yes it doo look like it influence from 300

Eager to looking forward to the offical launch of stormriders2movie in Dec 09. Hopefully,this will be a BIG Asian buster movie. Finger crossed!
