I haven’t heard of “The Zombie Diaries” until now. What is it? It’s an indie zombie movie out of the UK that looks like it was made for a very moderate budget, i.e. probably much, much, much lower than what Danny Boyle had when he made his “low-budget” pseudo zombie flick “28 Days Later”. The film has actually been out since 2006, which means I’m going to start looking for it now. In the meantime, there is a poster (thumbnail to your left) and trailer for it below. It actually looks pretty good, but then again, I’ve been fooled by great trailers before. We’ll see…
In the early part of the 21st Century, an unknown virus began spreading among the populous. Within weeks it had engulfed the entire planet, from the smallest rural communities to the greatest cities. Upon the death of its host, the virus would reanimate the corpse until it was no longer able to support itself. Soon, the planet was infested with a new threat – the undead. So begins our journey into the dystopian world of The Zombie Diaries.
